Job Description: Finance Analyst (Chennai)
Job Summary
As a Finance Analyst, you play a key role in supporting the Finance Business Partnering (FBP) team. Your primary responsibility is to execute operational tasks that follow the FBP-s analysis-investigating discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure robust financial processes. You are the go-to person for resolving issues, maintaining data accuracy, and driving process improvements. You will support the FBP in closing, reporting, budgeting, and studies/projects, while also contributing to the financial support of the Sales and Marketing teams in the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial FPB Support:
o Follow up on finance actions with Commercial teams.
o Manage and configure SAP provisions and payments.
o Participate in monthly sales performance meetings.
o KPIs: SAP configuration accuracy, provision accuracy, closure of meeting actions.
- Data Accuracy & Process Execution:
o Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
o Implement corrective actions and update processes.
o KPIs: Reduction in errors, timely resolution.
- Reporting Support:
o Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports for month-end and reviews.
o Develop dashboards for Sales and Marketing teams using SAP and Power BI.
o KPIs: On-time delivery, reporting excellence.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work with cross-functional teams to fix issues and improve processes.
o KPIs: Positive stakeholder feedback.
- System & Data Compliance:
o Maintain integrity of accounting systems.
o Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
o KPIs: Zero audit issues, zero breaches.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement:
o Adhere to the Quality Policy and management system.
o Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
o KPIs: Reduced defect rate, fewer customer complaints.
Person Specification
Education & Experience
- Master-s degree in Finance or Economics (Critical).
- 5+ years- experience in Finance (Controller / Financial Analyst / FP&A) within a multinational environment (Critical).
- Experience with accounting processes and systems (Critical).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills (Critical).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) (Important).
- Exposure to variance analysis and process improvement (Important).
- Completion of accounting qualification/apprenticeship (Desirable).
